Great hotel with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. I still remember how the staff helped me return my forgotten jewelry. I always recommend this hotel for its wonderful service and comfort. I'm coming back for Christmas!...

The hotel's location was excellent to visit the old centre of Bergen and it was close to the new shopping areas. The breakfast was of good quality.
There were no tea making facilities at the room. However, upon request, they did bring us a kettle and cups. There was a lot of street noice during the night.

Breakfast with good quality. Marvellous and perfect location, not too far from Fish Market. Public parking nearby provided.

frow a touristic point of view, hotel position is excellent, also considering a very close car parking;
elevator was dirty, badly repainted and bad smelling, the building shows a lack of maintenace since long time. Probably the hotel was distinguished in the past, but now the general impression is something managed without attention to the cleaness, with old moquette and a price absolutely far respect to what it offers.

Well located for city centre
The hotel did not seem to match the view I had from the website. This is probably because there are 2 or 3 buildings with separate reception for the same hotel. I noticed the newer looking building after I had already checked in. The room was very old fashioned. Not what I was expecting. If you book, make sure you get a room in the new or renovated part of the hotel. It is across the street from the main building so not obvious when checking in.

Location very good.
We were in the annex across the road from the main hotel. This building has the appearance of being very run down and neglected. This is not the Scandic Hotel quality I expected to get from previous experience. The whole ambiance of the Hotel left me with the opinion it was of a back street Hotel. not at all what I expected from this Chain of Hotels.

The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, but I was disappointed by the use of turkey bacon instead of traditional bacon. The location was fantastic, with easy access to attractions and lively pubs nearby. A standout feature was the homemade ice cream in the dining area.

Staff was very nice. Good location near downtown Bergen, but noisy.
Street noise was bad. Cost is high as is all of Scandinavia.
